Welcome to "Jade Under the Lamp." We take your privacy and personal information protection seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle relevant information when you use the app.

In the current version, "Jade Under the Lamp" primarily provides a standalone, locally run gameplay experience. You are not required to register for an account, and the app does not upload your game progress, activity records, or other content to us from within the app. Please read and understand this Privacy Policy before using the app.

1. How We Collect and Use Information

Based on the actual functionality of the current version, "Jade Under the Lamp" does not collect your name, phone number, email address, government ID number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone input, camera data, or other similar personal information during normal use. The app also does not establish a user account system.

In the current version, the app may process the following information locally on your device:

  1. Language Preference Settings
    Purpose: To remember the display language you select in the app so that content can continue to be shown according to your preference the next time you open it.
    Processing Method: This information is stored only on your local device and is not uploaded to our servers.
  2. Local Gameplay State Data
    Purpose: To support gameplay flow and interface presentation, such as current night progress, resource changes, order selections, cutting results, reward effects, relationship tags, and ending states.
    Processing Method: This information is primarily used to support functionality during gameplay. Based on the current code implementation, we have not identified any function that uploads such data to developer-operated servers.

Other than the local processing described above, the current version does not involve account registration, online matching, cloud saves, advertising delivery, behavioral analytics, personalized recommendations, or cross-app tracking.

2. How We Store Information

  1. Storage Location
    In the current version, if any information is stored, it is mainly stored locally on your device as preference data.
  2. Storage Method
    Language preferences and a small amount of similar settings may be stored using iOS local storage mechanisms in order to improve your future user experience.
  3. Storage Period
    Locally stored information is generally retained for as long as needed to provide the relevant functionality. Such information may be deleted if you uninstall the app, clear local data, or reset relevant system settings.

3. What We Do Not Do

Based on the current implementation, we do not:

  1. Require you to register or log in to an account within the app;
  2. Upload your game progress, gameplay choices, or ending content to our servers from within the app;
  3. Use in-app advertising SDKs, personalized recommendation SDKs, or third-party analytics or marketing SDKs to track you;
  4. Access your location, camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, health data, or Bluetooth information through the app.

If future versions add any of the capabilities above, we will update this Privacy Policy before such features go live and provide additional notice where required.

4. Third-Party Services

Based on the actual implementation of the current version, we have not integrated third-party SDKs within the app for advertising delivery, user profiling, marketing attribution, or crash analytics.

Please note that if you download, install, or run the app through Apple's App Store, TestFlight, or iOS system services, Apple may process relevant information under its own rules. Such processing is handled by Apple as an independent data controller or personal information processor under its own privacy policies and is separate from the in-app processing described in this Privacy Policy.

5. Permission Access

Based on the current implementation, "Jade Under the Lamp" does not actively request the following common sensitive permissions:

  1. Location permission;
  2. Camera permission;
  3. Microphone permission;
  4. Photo library read/write permission;
  5. Contacts permission;
  6. Bluetooth permission.

If a future version adds functionality that depends on specific device permissions, we will explain the purpose before access occurs and request your authorization where required.

6. Protection of Minors

If you are a minor, we recommend that you read and understand this Privacy Policy together with your parent or legal guardian and use the app only after obtaining their consent where appropriate.

The current version does not provide an account system and does not collect minors' personal information for the purpose of identifying a specific individual. If future feature updates involve such processing, we will fulfill the applicable legal notice and protection obligations.

7. Your Rights

Under the current version, because we generally do not collect or store your personal information on our servers, most requests related to online accounts or cloud-based data access, correction, export, or deletion typically do not apply.

For app settings or local data stored on your device, you can generally manage them in the following ways:

  1. Modify relevant settings within the app, where such functionality is available;
  2. Manage app permissions through iOS system settings;
  3. Delete locally stored data by uninstalling the app or through equivalent device-level actions.
